Solid-type cutterhead
These cutterheads are used for completing and finishing operations of spiral bevel and hypoid gears, mainly of fine module. Characteristic for Solid heads is their performance as a single element consisting of a body and blades. Our production program includes cutterheads with diameters ranging from 2.75 ” to 4.5″ full range of sizes with standard or special cutting depth. The cutterhead is made as a right hand (RH) or left hand (LH) of PM-HSS.
Eco-Solid cutterhead
Similar as Solid-type cutterheads, these are the tools for completing and finishing operations of spiral bevel and hypoid gears, mainly of fine module. Unlike the Solid-type cutterhead, Eco-Solid tool consists of: body, blades and bolts. From the user’s point of view, Eco-Solid cutterhead is treated as a non-separable tool. Blades are made of PMHSS, and the body of structural steel. In case of complete wear, blades are replaceable after sending to us a complete tool. Production includes tools with diameters from 3″ to 6″, full range of sizes with standard or special cutting depth. The cutterhead is made as a right hand (RH) or left hand (LH).
